Seasonal Riverwalk Recreation Center Attendant

SEASONAL RECREATION ATTENDANT- RIVERWALK

The City of Carlsbad is accepting applications for Seasonal Recreation Attendants at the Riverwalk Recreation Center. This position is seasonal from approximately Memorial Day until Labor Day, but may extend beyond this time depending on need, working up to 40 hours per week including weekends and evenings.

Assists in providing recreational activities for citizens at the City's Riverwalk Recreation Center.

Performs support work for Recreation Center Manager in the day to day operation of the Riverwalk Recreation Center in providing a wide variety of recreational programs for the youth. Establishes a harmonious atmosphere for participants.

Assists in coordinating, conducting and overseeing recreation programs such as: physical activities, dances, birthday parties, and special holiday programs.

Starting hourly pay rate will be $23.54.

Qualifications: Must be 18 years of age or older and must possess a valid New Mexico driver’s license or Identification.
