Moose Crossing Garden Center in Waldoboro has a seasonal opening for the following position:

Seasonal Retail Clerk

Job Description: Typical duties include but are not limited to:

• Utilize cash register and credit card machines to complete customer purchases
• Multitasking in a fast paced retail environment
• Stocking and maintaining merchandise in the store
• Answering phone calls
• General customer assistance including answering questions, providing direction, assisting customers to their vehicles and loading plants

Job Requirements

• Proven ability to work in fast paced environment with multiple responsibilities
• Be able to lift 30 lbs and be on your feet for much of the day
• Have a courteous demeanor
• Must be able to one weekend day
• Ability to communicate and take direction
• Experience with cash registers and the retail environment
• Understand that the customer and their needs take precedence over day to day tasks.
• Neatness and attention to detail a must

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Seasonal

Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
