The Seasonal Production Scheduler supports the vision and goals of Hearth & Home Technologies by planning and managing production schedules to meet customer delivery requirements and best utilize the company’s productive capacity. 

Essential Functions of a Seasonal Production Scheduler:

• Evaluate and schedule production lines to produce product based upon days of supply (DOS) targets, customer orders, keep fill replenishment, build to order requests, pilot builds.
• Update product lines, pick tickets/visual management tools with daily schedule information for production, raw material and warehouse requirements.
• Evaluate over/under sell, days of supply (DOS) and demand to determine overtime or reduced production days.
• Analyze customer expedite requests and review material requirements and lead time violations, assuring accuracy of inventory reporting for capacity planning.

Qualifications of a Seasonal Production Scheduler:

• Prior scheduling/planning experience with MRP software, preferred in a manufacturing environment.
• Intermediate to Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience using data as part of the decision making process.
• Strong communication skills.
