General Purpose
The City of Commerce City is seeking a Seasonal Pool Manager to join our team! Under the general direction of the Recreation Supervisor of Aquatics, the Outdoor Pool Manager will be responsible for general aquatic responsibilities, including, but not limited to, supervision of aquatic, admission and concession staff, as well as guarding, swim lesson instruction, and pool maintenance.
The Outdoor Pool Manager must work successfully in a team-oriented atmosphere that provides citizens and other employees with accurate information, excellent customer service and human relation skills. Individuals in this position must have current LGT, CPR and AED certifications and must be accountable, flexible and adept at conflict resolution.
We will review applications every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday.
Hiring salary is dependent upon experience.
The hiring range for Outdoor Pool Manager is $22.31 - $24.98 per hour.

Minimum Qualifications
Must be 18 years of age. Requires high school graduation or equivalent; Requires a minimum of two years' experience life guarding and managing at a public pool. Must have the ability to successfully complete lifeguard certification within 30 days of hire. Must have experience in telephone courtesy, cash handling and customer service. Must have PC computer knowledge and skills in Windows and MS Office Environment. MS Word and ACTIVENET experience preferred.
Recreation Center Membership: Employees are eligible for a membership to the Commerce City Recreation Center for $5.00 per year.
Golf Course Green Fees: Employees can play the City's award-winning Buffalo Run Golf Course at a rate of $9.00 for 9-holes or $18.00 for 18-holes. Employees can also purchase golf merchandise at discounted prices.
Benefits: The city monitors the hours worked for seasonal and variable hour employees. In the event that they work more than 1,560 hours within the ACA measurement period, they will be offered health benefits.
Wellness: Employees are eligible to earn up to $100 for participation in various wellness activities offered by the City throughout the year.
Eligibility for Pay Increases: Employees are eligible for a pay increase around the time of their annual appraisal following a successful evaluation.
