Kendal Floral Supply in Carlsbad is seeking help for the following Seasonal Position as a: Packer/Runner

**Seasonal Assignment Start Date - 01/31/2024 to 02/14/2024 (Approximate End Date)

1st Shift/ Monday to Friday 5:00 am to 1:30 pm - overtime & availability to work weekends

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Package bouquets/arrangements into cartons and /or buckets according to recipe specifications.
• Verify UPC has correct information.
• Verify correct quantities are being packed.
• Communicate with Packing Lead about incomplete orders.
• Palletize and label finished orders.
• Shrink wrap finished pallets or rolling carts according to customer specifications.
• Consistently supplies production with correct type and quantity of flowers.
• Pull and safely transport flowers from cooler to the production tables.
• Maintain a plentiful supply of clean buckets to maximize production efficiency.
• Take back into the cooler any unused product left at the end of the day.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area during the day and at the end of shift.
• Takes buckets out of the work area and dumps cardboard inside a compactor.
• Other duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS

Minimum of six months manufacturing related experience or training. High School or GED preferred.

Ability to work in a refrigerated environment 35 to 45 degrees

Ability to read and write.

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide.

Ability to follow directions.

Ability to move/lift buckets and boxes frequently up to 50 lbs.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Ability to work overtime when needed.

Ability to work on weekends when required.

• 12 hour shift
• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday
• Overtime
• Weekends as needed
