This year, Open Door will be the medical home for more than 57,000 patients, providing more than 300,000 visits. Our family medical services include primary medical care, dentistry, mental health, optometry, podiatry, and women's health in Ossining, Sleepy Hollow, Mamaroneck, Port Chester, Mount Kisco, Brewster and Saugerties, New York.

Open Door is looking to fill a Temporary/Seasonal Holiday Stockroom position.
For 36 years, Open Door Family Medical Center has been distributing holiday gifts to the children at our six Medical Centers.Last year, Open Door distributed over 5,500 holiday gifts.
Responsibilities
- Sort and box toy donations: Assist in coordinating volunteers
- Maintain Toy Donation Inventory
- Organize Toy Deliveries
- Load and unload delivery vans
- Maintain Stockroom
- Events:
- Must be able to work on Toy Distribution Days
- Set-up six events at various locations: Set-up tables, hang decorations, post signage
- Help Distribute Toys
- Break down boxes
- Event Clean-up: re-box toys, take down decorations and signs, load cars
- Assist as needed in all aspects of the Holiday Toy Days
Competencies
- Bilingual/ Spanish beneficial but not required
- Ability to lift 25 lbs.
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Thoroughness/Attention to Detail
- Communicates effectively and clearly with volunteers and team members
- Strong team player with the ability to work independently
Commitment
- Based in Ossining. Need ability to travel to event sites in Westchester & Lower Putnam County
- 10 to 12 weeks opportunity (end November thru mid-January)
- Flexible weekday schedule, one Saturday required
- On-site supervision
Hourly Compensation: $18.00 per hour
