Positions start at $10.50/hr
Guest Experience Team Members work as part of a team at different zoo venues including the admissions booth, front gate entry, budgie feeding aviary, camel rides, funicular, ropes course, zip line and assisting with special event nights. The ideal candidate will be positive, friendly, and reliable. Each Team Member must enjoy working with people and must care about the well-being of guests and other Team Members. All Team Members act as role models for outstanding guest service standards, both within the department and within the zoo.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Maintain outstanding guest service.
- Promptly and professionally assist guests and answer questions regarding John Ball Zoo policies.
- Efficiently operate point of sale system and accurately perform any zoo experience transactions.
- Accurately handle all monetary transactions and successfully assist with the daily deposit at end of shift.
- Perform other miscellaneous tasks in support of Zoo operations and guest satisfaction.
- Positive and friendly demeanor.
- Ability to interact positively and objectively with co-workers, patrons, volunteers, contractors and members of the general public.
- Must have weekend and evening availability.
- Must be available to work irregular hours that occur including weekends, holidays, or evenings.
