SEASONAL GRAIN BIN CLEANER:
Grain Bin Cleaners are responsible for maintaining cleanliness and safety within grain storage facilities such as silos and bins. The primary duties involve removing leftover grain residue, debris, and other contaminants from the interior of Grain Bins to ensure quality control, prevent spoilage, and maintain a safe working environment. This role requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and adherence to safety protocols.
SEASONAL GRAIN BIN CLEANER RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Responsible for emptying Grain Bin to include sweeps, shoveling and broom work
- Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to minimize risks associated with confined spaces, grain dust, including wearing personal protective equipment (PPE) such as respirators, safety harnesses, gloves, and safety goggles
- Work collaboratively with other team members, including grain facility managers, maintenance staff, and safety personnel, to coordinate cleaning schedules and ensure efficient operations
- Assists in maintaining quality and quantity of stored grain
- Loads and unloads trucks or railroad cars
- Performs general housekeeping activities inside and outside the facility
- Other duties as assigned by management

SCHEDULE: Monday-Friday 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM
SEASONAL GRAIN BIN CLEANER REQUIREMENTS:
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs. and successfully pass a pre-employment drug test and background check
- Experience in fields such as general labor, heavy equipment operator, machine operator, concrete, production, grain elevator operator, construction, grain or mill work, customer service, truck driver, or warehousing is helpful
