THE JOB:
Support the Talent Acquisition team with administrative and guest service-oriented tasks related to recruitment, selection, candidate hiring requirements, and onboarding.
THE DAY-TO-DAY:
- Assist in all phases of new hire processing including scheduling new hire orientation
- Assist with the gaming registration process, to include new hires, terms, change of location and incomplete registrations
- Conduct pre-processing audit, including new hire scheduling and confirmation communication
- Process new hires, ensuring compliance as related to I-9s, WOTC, Gaming Control Board and other requirements
- Respond to requests for I-9 audit changes and additional information from Corporate Compliance
- Work with governing bodies & regulatory agencies to ensure Employment-related compliance (DHS, Nevada GCB, Internal Audit, etc.)
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:
- Working knowledge of Federal and State licensing requirements to include I-9, gaming registration, work cards, etc.
- Able to effectively communicate in English, in both written and verbal forms
- Ability to communicate effectively, concisely and logically in a timely manner and at an appropriate level, while maintaining confidentiality
- Ability to multi-task and work well in a fast paced, team-oriented environment
- Excellent customer service skills and interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with all business contacts
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- High school diploma or GED
- One (1) year of experience in Human Resources
- Work varied shifts, to include weekends and holidays
PREFERRED:
- Experience working under the applicable employment and other regulations governing Human Resources policies, procedures and practices
- Experience working in a similar resort setting
- Bi-lingual, with English as primary or secondary language
- Proficiency in Workday or other SAAS platform
