SalaryJohnstone Supply is currently hiring in Modesto, CA for a SeasonalFull-Time Counter Sales Associate to be the face of our company to our valued customers. This position earns $18.50 - $21.74/hour, depending on experience. This is an opportunity to learn more about the HVAC trade in a culture where employees are valued. You would also have your evenings and weekends free.

As a Counter Sales Associate, you typically work Monday-Friday, 7:00 am - 5:00 pm, and a start time of 6:00am every other Thursday for mandatory branch meetings. You are the person manning the counter. Customers rely on you for your expertise and knowledge of our products. When HVAC contractors call in or stop by our storefront, you greet them & enter their orders into our point-of-sale system. You also pull orders for carryout or delivery. Friendly and helpful, you develop and maintain relationships with them built on trust. You feel great about helping our business clients meet their own clients' needs as you continue to learn more about the HVAC trade!

REQUIREMENTS FOR A COUNTER SALES ASSOCIATE
- 2 years of customer service experience
- Basic computer proficiency
- Phone skills
- Physical ability to move and lift products
- Stellar customer service skills
- Sales mentality
HVAC industry experience would be helpful but is not required.
