Seasonal Clean Up Team Member

Education & Qualifications: Must be a minimum of 14 years of age to comply with child labor laws. Must be able to lift and carry 50 lbs. frequently and up to 100 lbs. occasionally utilizing a two-person lift. Must be able to work around a variety of chemicals, using safety precautions as necessary. Must be able to work with others or independently. Must be able to work outdoors in all elements. Must always maintain a well-groomed appearance.

Essential Functions:

• Maintain safety, cleanliness and organization of park midways, dining areas, picnic areas, and restrooms.
• Empty trash cans, dispose of trash, and maintain overall cleanliness of trash cans in assigned area
• Clean restroom fixtures, floors, walls, and restock, when necessary, with supplies
• Follow safe and proper procedures set forth by company when using cleaning supplies and equipment
• Set up and/or tear down equipment used for special events
• Provide superior service when interacting and assisting guests with inquiries, concerns, providing directions, always maintaining guest satisfaction.
• Report any safety, property damage and or maintenance concerns to Clean Up Team Leader or Manager
• Work in various weather and environmental conditions including but not limited to direct or indirect sunlight, heat, humidity, rain, hail, cold temperatures.
• May be assigned to perform duties as mascot to include greeting guests with waves, hugs, high fives, and being able to understand guest cues and the level of interaction a guest may want.
  • Be able to withstand 50-60 or 80-90 degree temperatures in a semi-restrictive environment for 20-45 minutes
  • May act as character guide to assist others performing mascot duties by assisting in navigating terrain and directing with guest interaction, helping with photo opportunities, and answering questions.

• Must be able to work in a team atmosphere. Provide help and support to co-workers on an ongoing basis.
