Status: Non-Exempt (Hourly)
Area: Position based is Stafford and/or Pavilion with destinations throughout Western New York.
Position summary: A drivers are primarily responsible for safe pick-up and delivery of agricultural
products such as fertilizers, Ag Lime, seed, etc. using road tractors with various trailers including auger,
dump, tanker, drop deck and cargo (may also use Class B trucks). B drivers will use auger trucks, tanker
trucks, and box trucks to deliver fertilizer and other agricultural products. Also responsible for
completing unit inspections, minor repair to units, proper hook up of trailers, grease units daily, and
adjust brakes as necessary. Also ensure safe handling of equipment and products. The employee is also
responsible for ensuring customer satisfaction and providing customer service. Employees will be
responsible for other changing tasks as deemed necessary to conform to an ever-changing industry.
Employees may also be required to assist in daily plant operations and maintenance.
Minimum qualifications: The Employee must possess (at time of hiring) and maintain a Class A or B
driver’s license and must be able to pass a pre-employment drug test. Tanker and other endorsements a
plus.The employee must be safety oriented, customer driven and a team player.
Physical requirements: Employee should be able to work independently, with frequent physical
activities such as lifting up to 50 lbs (occasionally up to 100lbs.); climbing ladders, trailers and bending.
Ability to use personal protective equipment (PPE) when required.
Experience: Preferably one year’s verifiable CDL driving experience (is preferred but not necessary)
with a safe driving record, with the ability to perform position requirements.
Education: Minimum of a high school education (or equivalent), completion of a certified driving
course if employee has less than five years of driving experience preferred.
Reporting relationship: This position reports directly to the Dispatch/Driver Supervisor.
Working conditions: Tractor Trailer and or a 10-Wheeler, multiple customer locations such as dairy and
crop farms, which all may become dusty environments, varied daily schedule with possible long shifts
including Saturdays.

and willingness to learn and accept constructive criticism are an absolute necessity.
