Position:Seasonal Assistant Stage Manager
Hourly Rate: $37.50

Role Overview:
Reporting to the Stage Manager, the Assistant Stage Manager role is an hourly position who is responsible for the successful execution of performances of multiple disciplines in Damrosch Park as a part of the Summer for the City 2024 summer festival.
What you’ll get to do here:
- Work with our artistic partners to execute a seamless performance.
- Support the Stage Manager with deck responsibilities and artist cueing.
- Lead the IATSE Local 1 run crews through their pre-show, performance, and post-show moves and tasks.
- Onsite coordination from the months of June 2024 through August 2024.
- Cover all performance days in Damrosch Park, which include nights and weekends.
- Ensure compliance with Lincoln Center's policies and safety standards.
You’ll be a fit if you bring:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a stage management role, or equivalent experience.
- The ability to demonstrate resilience and professionalism during high profile events with the ability to troubleshoot under pressure.
- Strong project management skills with an organized, self-motivated approach and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience managing union labor.
- Excellent communication skills, both in person and via email/digital communication mediums.
You’ll be a great fit if you bring:
- Experience working within an outdoor festival environment.
- Familiarity with backline and live music performance.
