Form of workDelaware North Parks and Resorts is hiring an Assistant Retail Manager to join our team at Yellowstone General Stores in Yellowstone National Park, Wyoming. As an Assistant Retail Manager, you will be responsible for contributing to the growth and profitability of the business with management oversight for the day-to-day operations of the Canyon General Store and the Adventure Store.
Please Note: This position is seasonal from 5/2/24 - 10/14/24.
Housing and three meals per day is included.

PayMinimum – Anticipated Maximum Base Salary: $49500 - $66800 / year
In addition to base salary, we offer an annual bonus plan based on company and individual performance, or a role-based, uncapped sales incentive plan. The advertised pay range represents what we believe at the time of this job posting, that we would be willing to pay for this position. Only in special circumstances, where a candidate has education, training, or experience that far exceeds the requirements for the position, would we consider paying higher than the stated range. Responsibilities
- Support management in overseeing retail stores, portable locations, warehouse operations, sales, and team members
- Implement retail programs for stores to meet corporate standards and achieve goals
- Participate in product development
- Manage in-store merchandising and display to ensure maximum visual impact and revenue generation
- Monitor in-stock position of approved merchandise programs and inventory control at store level to ensure procedural and policy compliance
- Minimum of 3 years of supervisory experience.
- Minimum of 1 year of retail operations experience preferred.
- Food and beverage experience is preferred.
- Knowledge of merchandising techniques and retail operations.
- Ability to train and develop team members.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Must be available to work all shifts, including weekends and some holidays.

- Ability to lift up to 30 pounds
