Seamstress/Tailor/Sewist

Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Tailor to join our team. As a Tailor, you will be responsible for providing high-quality alterations, tailoring and sewing services to our customers. If you have a passion for garment construction and sewing, we would love to hear from you.

Duties:
- Perform alterations and repairs on various types of garments, including pants, shirts, dresses, and jackets

-Assist in construction and creation of custom garments and projects
- Use sewing machines, sergers, and other tools to complete alterations and projects
- Sew hems, seams, buttons, zippers, and other necessary adjustments
- Provide exceptional quality service by addressing any concerns or questions related to alterations or projects
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Keep track of inventory and order necessary supplies

Skills:
- Proficient in garment construction techniques and sewing methods
- Strong knowledge of different fabrics and their properties
- Experience using sewing machines and other tailoring tools
- Basic math skills for accurate measurements and calculations
- Excellent attention to detail and precision in workmanship
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Strong customer service skills to ensure customer satisfaction
- Good communication skills for interacting with colleagues and supervisor
