Northwest Seafood, Inc. is a Gainesville, FL staple, and will be celebrating it's 31st year under current ownership. A big city market... in a small town, Northwest Seafood prides itself on exceptional customer service, and high quality seafood products. We offer a wide variety of seafood items ranging from Fresh Whole Fish, Fillets and Steaks, Shrimp, Shellfish, and Frozen seafood items. For six years we have been offering fresh, cooked to order seafood either straight from the case (a la carte), or off our menu from our kitchen.
Perfect job for parents with school age kids. Work while your kids are in class, and get off in time to pick them up.
We are open Monday thru Saturday from: 10 am - 6:30 pm.
We are closed on Sunday.
Position needs/requirements:
Available to work:
- Monday - Saturday: 8 am - 7 pm (30-40 hrs/week with some over-time possible)
Provide courteous, friendly, and efficient customer service. Perform duties related to counter service, stocking, and sanitation of the store.
Responsibilities
- Provide outstanding customer service; ensure customer needs are met in a timely fashion.
- Portion, weigh, price and package all customer orders.
- Ensure all cases and shelves are clean and well-stocked.
- Monitor product quality and freshness and ensure proper rotation of product.
- Maintain accurate signage and pricing.
- Receive, unload, and put away product deliveries.
- Follow and comply with established procedures, including weights and measures, health and sanitation, and safe work practices.

- Ability to follow directions and established procedures
- Ability to sell proactively

Salary: $12 to $17.00 /hour
