Position: Sr. SDET Consultant
Location: Remote (Atlanta, GA)
Duration: Contractual/Long-term
Job Description:
Experience in testing methodologies and strategies: Test Driven Development, Behavior Driven Development, etc.
Expertise in developing automation using Selenium Web Driver, TOSCA, Cucumber and test management tools like qTest
Java / Java EE 8+ and SQL
Experience in Unix (commands and viewing logs)
Experience in API Design & Development
API Automation Testing Experience is must
Angular 8 / 9, Angular JS, React, Node JS, SCCS, CSS, HTML5
Javascript, Typescript, Jquery, Bootstrap
One Of - OpenShift, PCF, AWS, GCP OR Azure (12 Factors, Architecture, deployment, development)
Web Architecture Fundamentals (HTTP, Authentication methods, DNS, Proxies, Reverse Proxies, HTTP Caching..)
Data Models, logical and physical data modelling , SQL query performance
Working with Devops - Jira, Git, Maven, Jenkins / Go, Service Virtualization
Agile methodology with focus on XP / BDD / TDD
NoSQL databases – MongoDB, Cassandra, Dynamo DB, Redis or similar
Spring Project Ecosystem
Kubernetes, Docker, Knative
Testing understanding, test processes
Defect management
Agile processes
Any automation (Selinium / Cucumber / TOSCA)
Service virtualization
Test data management
Having telecom domain knowledge is an added advantage.
Software Development Engineer in Test (SDETs) are a part of the agile development team and responsible for development and testing of enterprise grade software systems. SDET professional's knowledge is entirely focused on testability, robustness and performance of software testing and development process. SDETs provide software quality assurance by ensuring project deliverables are meeting adequate quality standards set, as agreed between business stakeholders, using automated test scripts and tools, tracking defects using Defect management tool, coordinating with development team in resolving defects.
