Job Description:
To promote, encourage and enforce infection control measures throughout our organization, tracking and communicating reporting measures as required. Plan, organize, develop and direct all in-service educational programs throughout the facility.
Responsibilities:
- Helping to hire, train, teach, and monitor nurses.
- Managing clinical operations and developing care plans.
- Assisting in budget preparation and expense management.
- Conducting patient rounds and addressing complaints.
- Conducting patient rounds and addressing complaints.
- Training and educating Staff
Requirements/Qualifications:
- Must possess a current, unencumbered, active license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of employment
- Must have, as a minimum, two (2) year of recent experience in a supervisory role in a nursing care facility
- Infection Preventionist certificate preferred
- Assist in organizing, developing and directing the overall operations of the Nursing Service Department in accordance with current federal, state and local standards, guidelines and regulations that govern the facility
