Job Description
The Scrum Master is responsible for driving the full lifecycle of project delivery, from requirements definition through implementation and roll out, working with a cross functional team of business and technical resources.
The Scrum Master is ultimately accountable for the success of the services, products, and features produced by the team.
Essential Job Requirements- Facilitates daily scrum, sprint planning, sprint demo and retrospective meetings.
- Forecasts the numbers of deliverables possible in an iteration
- Works with product owner to groom and maintain the product backlogs ahead of upcoming sprints
- Ensures that peers have tools to get their work done efficiently
- Oversees design, implementation, QA, and validation of services, programming code, and products
- Removes impediments or assists peers to remove impediments by finding the right personnel to remove the impediment.
- Works with peers to deliver on-time and production quality deliverables
- Partners with peers to achieve higher levels of organizational maturity at a pace that is sustainable and comfortable for the team and organization
- Facilitates project related discussions, decision making, and conflict resolution
- Manages scope and the change request process, coordinating decision process related to impact of changes from original specifications
- Coordinates testing and Quality Assurance processes
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent related work experience
Required Experience- Experience playing the Scrum Master role or Agile Project Manager for at least two years for service delivery or software development teams that was diligently applying Scrum principles, practices, and theory
- Basic knowledge of software development processes and procedures
- At least five years’ experience in information technology (IT)
- Knowledge of Agile techniques like: User Stories, Continuous Integration, TDD, Continuous Testing, Pairing, Automated Testing
- Knowledge of development of test cases
- Experience with Azure DevOps
- Knowledge of the child support industry preferred
- Scrum Master certification preferred
- Ability to work with a geographically dispersed team
- Excellent facilitation, verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills; the ability to communicate effectively at all levels and to all functional groups; the ability to translate technical requirements and issues into appropriate context.

- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and under pressure with proficient attention to detail
