Job Description

We are seeking a Screen Printing Associate to join our team! You will help oversee operational activities and ensure excellent quality control.

Responsibilities

• Prepare screens for printing, including coating with emulsion, drying, and exposing screens with the appropriate design
• Accurately mix inks to achieve desired colors, considering factors like Pantone matching and print specifications
• Set up and calibrate printing equipment, ensuring proper alignment and registration of screens for accurate and consistent prints
• Operate Screen Printing machines to produce high-quality prints on various materials
• Monitor print quality throughout production run, making adjustments as needed to maintain consistency and meet design specifications
• Identify and troubleshoot issues with printing equipment or processes, minimizing downtime
• Perform regular cleaning and maintenance of printing equipment to ensure optimal functionality
• Support the lead printer in managing workflow and coordinating tasks
• Work collaboratively with other members of the printing team to achieve production goals
• Follow safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a secure working environment
• Maintain accurate records of production runs, including quantities, colors, and any issues encountered
• Contribute ideas for process improvement to enhance efficiency and reduce production costs

Qualifications

• Experience running automatic presses is a PLUS!
• Proficient in all aspects of the Screen Printing process.
• Strong understanding of press set up, operation, tear down, and maintenance.
• Ability to mix inks and follow written instructions accurately.
• Demonstrated expertise in achieving high-quality prints.

Pay: $13.00 - $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Day shift

Work Location: In person
