** 2nd Shift Opportunity **
Serigraph is looking for a Screen Press Operator to operate a Screen Press, manage quality control, perform maintenance, and follow environmental practices. The candidate should be detail-oriented, able to work well with a team, and be committed to ensuring high-quality products while minimizing environmental impact.
Screen Press Operator Responsibilities -
    • The operator should review job tickets for product specifications, ensuring they understand the requirements for each job.
    • The operator is responsible for setting up the press, which includes configuring the sheet feeding system.
    • They should review films, install screens, and align the register properly.
    • The operator should approve ink color, fit, margins, or assign approval, and monitor color consistency.
    • The operator needs to rack and derack trucks, which likely involves handling materials and screens.
    • Perform routine and preventive maintenance on the press according to the maintenance schedule.
    • Use a computer to order necessary materials and ink for the press operation. This likely involves managing inventory and ensuring that the required supplies are readily available.
    • Obtain essential supplies like ink stock and screens to ensure the continuous operation of the Screen Press.
    • Oversee the operation of a manufacturing assistant who works with the press.
    • Perform other press support operation duties as required. This may include tasks such as reloading the feeder with materials and setting up the sheet stacker to facilitate the printing process.
    • Maintain effective communication with co-workers on different shifts to address job-related issues.
    • Follow all current quality systems in the assigned work area.
    • Participate in APQP (Advanced Product Quality Planning) or PDE (Product Development Engineering) meetings, and other team meetings as required.
    • Ensure compliance with environmental practices, policies, and requirements. Handle materials and dispose of them following appropriate procedures.
    • Support Serigraph's current quality business system and understand the use of SPECS.
    • Responsible for ensuring product quality. They have the authority to stop production to correct any quality concerns. Management should be informed of any products or processes that do not meet quality requirements.

Minimum Qualifications for Screen Press Operator -
    • Meet medical and fit-testing requirements for respirator use.
    • Punctuality and consistently showing up to work on time.
    • Proficiency in reading and interpreting work instructions and job tickets.
    • Effective communication skills for clearly addressing issues.
    • The ability to accurately enter necessary information into the Titan ERP system.
    • Knowledge of departmental and company safety, housekeeping, PPE practices.
