- Actively participate and assist in leading team with CMC Safety Programs and proactively uphold the CMC Safety Culture (Take 2, Observation Cards and Personal Protection Equipment (PPE)
- Enforces all company policies including safety and government safety regulations
- Must champion Safety and promote safety by example in all aspects of the operations
- Plan and attend required staffing and safety meetings
- Monitors production levels on a continuous basis to insure employees are productive and striving to meet production schedules
- Monitor daily staffing needs and communicate with other employees to fill in vacancies to maintain operations
- Communicate with fellow workers and supervisors about possible production issues, concerns, and needs
- Manage daily operations
- Communicate important shift information, production issues, concerns and needs with proper personnel
- Utilize improvement projects that increase the departments functionality
- Analyze, treat & establish counter measures for failures
- Hold Performance Reviews with employees and/or give feedback on employees performance
- Minimum 3 years of field experience in either heavy industrial operations and/or manufacturing environment strongly preferred
- Data entry in SAP/QMOS experience
- Ability to work with exposure to extreme temperatures, chemicals, dust fumes and mists, uneven surfaces, loud noise, elevated work areas, and confined spaces
- Ability to work as a team player in a fast paced environment, with strong work ethic, pay attention to detail and find root causes for issues
- Experience managing people and budgets
- Experience in Inventory Control
- Proficient in MS Office programs - Outlook, Word, Excel, Powerpoint
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience is required
