Quantum Technology Sciences is seeking applicants capable of performing sophisticated seismic analysis using our proprietary analysis systems as well as capabilities under development. Analysis includes multi-domain and multi-dimensional phased array processing and advanced detection, location, and classification techniques. The candidate will work with real-time, automated analytics that leverage time, frequency, and spatial information. Sources of interest are both traditional microseismic sources originating with both natural and induced seismicity, and anthropomorphic sources that excite energy in the earth, air, and water. A knowledge of standard processing techniques for active source seismic surveys is also desired. The candidate will also enjoy growth opportunities executing scientific investigations as well as developing algorithms and/or data processing methodologies for applications within the security & surveillance industry.
Travel is expected, largely to the field, but the candidate may also participate in professional society meetings.
