Department: MED-Biochem&Molecular Genetics Salary/Grade: RES/ Job Summary: Cancer Biology, Transcription, Chromatin, Epigenetics Dr. Ali Shilatifard is seeking to hire a full-time Science Writer with an advanced degree in Biology, Biochemistry, or Molecular Biology to research, write, and edit information and documents related to the ongoing studies at Simpson Querrey Institute for Epigenetics. The Science Writer will be fully engaged with the Institute members keeping current on the ongoing studies in the laboratory so to assist with the preparation of manuscripts being submitted for publication, grants, and other lab narratives for seminars, webpages, etc.
The Science Writer will attend group lab meetings, department journal clubs, seminars, and individual project meetings, respectively.
