Position Overview:

We are currently seeking a passionate and innovative full-time Science and Math Teacher to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate is someone who loves the art of teaching and is excited to bring creativity and enthusiasm to our unique learning environment. This role is perfect for educators who thrive outside the traditional classroom setting and are eager to engage students with the wonders of Science and Math through real-world applications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement engaging Science and Math curricula that incorporate hands-on learning and real-world applications.
• Organize and lead field trips and outdoor activities that complement classroom learning.
• Foster a nurturing and stimulating learning environment that encourages student curiosity and learning.
• Assess student progress and adapt teaching methods to meet individual needs.
• Collaborate with fellow teachers and staff to enhance the overall educational experience at Colossal Academy.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Science, Math, Education, or related field (Master’s preferred).
• Valid teaching certification.
• Proven experience in teaching Science and/or math at a relevant educational level.
• Strong passion for teaching and a commitment to student-centered, experiential learning.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to innovate and think creatively about education.

Pay: $45,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
