Schools - Rn Nurse

ProCare Therapy is seeking a dedicated and qualified School Registered Nurse to join our team for the 2023-24 school year in Orinda, CA. As a contracted employee with ProCare Therapy, you will play a crucial role in promoting and maintaining the health and well-being of students within a school setting.

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct health services to students, including assessment, intervention, and follow-up.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers.
• Develop and implement individualized health plans for students with chronic health conditions.
• Collaborate with school staff, parents, and healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive care.
• Conduct health screenings and maintain accurate health records.
• Respond to medical emergencies and provide first aid as needed.
• Educate students and staff on health-related topics.
• Participate in individualized education program (IEP) meetings as needed.

Qualifications:

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
• Previous experience in a school or pediatric setting is a plus.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team.
• Knowledge of current health issues and trends affecting school-age children.
