Hours per Week: 37.5(Monday-Friday, following the school calendar with days off, in-service days, holidays, and school closures if they occur)

Are you a dedicated and experienced Occupational Therapist ready to make a significant impact on the lives of students in a school setting? We are looking for a Full-Time Occupational Therapist to join our team in Fort pierce, FLfor the 2023-2024 school year. This position offers the opportunity to provide services to a diverse caseload across multiple campuses.
Position Overview: As a Full-Time Occupational Therapist/ COTA in Fort pierce, FL, you will be a vital part of helping students achieve their full potential. You will attend ARDs (Admission, Review, and Dismissal) meetings, provide services to students, and assess their needs. Your work will contribute to creating a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments to identify students' occupational therapy needs.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
- Provide direct occupational therapy services to students.
- Attend ARDs to support students' Individualized Education Plans (IEPs).
- Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and support staff to ensure student success.
Requirements:
- Florida state licensure as an Occupational Therapist.
- Dedication to supporting students in their occupational therapy needs.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience in a school setting is preferred but not mandatory.
