Job Description: We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team for the 2023-2024 school year in Tiverton, Rhode Island. As an SLP, you will play a vital role in providing speech and language services to students, helping them overcome communication challenges and reach their full potential.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments to diagnose speech and language disorders.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for students.
• Provide direct therapy to students in individual or group settings.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support students' needs.
• Monitor and document student progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of IEP goals.
• Stay up-to-date with best practices and trends in speech-language pathology.

Qualifications:

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders.
• Rhode Island state licensure or eligibility for licensure.
• ASHA Certification of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred.
• Previous school-based or pediatric experience is a plus.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of an educational team.
