Monday to Friday 7:30am to 3:30pm (On-call position)

Position Summary:
Serving a critical role in ensuring the safety and security for schools in Westchester County, the Security Greeter/Monitor is responsible for performing licensed security guarding duties for an assigned client location, its visitors, guests, residents and their property. By exhibiting vigilance and tactfulness in following company protocol, the Security Greeter/Monitor is perceptive at identifying situational risk within assigned areas and prompt in communicating events to Site Supervisor/ Manager on duty.

Essential Job Responsibilities:
- As a Security Greeter: provide a welcoming and secure environment for students, staff, and guests within the Mamaroneck School District.
- As a Campus Monitor: maintain a vigilant presence, observe and report any suspicious activities or individuals to the appropriate authorities.
- Greet and assist visitors, staff and students and provides directions and guidance regarding the appropriate locations within the school district.
- Patrol from building to building throughout the school district
- Ensure adherence to the school district's security protocols and policies.
- Collaborate with other security personnel to ensure a coordinated response to any security-related incidents.
- Available to fill in as a Security Greeter when needed, responding to short-notice requests and maintaining flexibility in scheduling.
Minimum Qualifications/Requirements:
- Prior school greeter/campus monitor experience
- Minimum 10 years of experience working in schools.
- Strong interpersonal and customer service skills
- Valid documentation as proof of residency/right to work in the U.S.
