Position Overview: As a School Registered Nurse (RN), you will play a crucial role in promoting a safe and healthy environment for students in the school district. You will work closely with the school's healthcare team to ensure the well-being of students, provide essential healthcare services, and contribute to a positive educational experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer first aid and basic healthcare services to students and staff as needed.
- Monitor and manage students with chronic medical conditions.
- Assist in the development and implementation of health and wellness programs.
- Educate students, families, and staff on health-related topics.
- Maintain accurate health records and documentation.
- Collaborate with school personnel to support the health and safety of the school community.
Requirements:
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of New Mexico.
- BLS/CPR certification.
- Experience in pediatric or school nursing is a plus but not required.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Compassion and dedication to student well-being.
