Pay range:$33-$40/hr

Responsibilities:

• Provide basic medical care and first aid to students and staff as needed.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments in accordance with school policies and state regulations.
• Conduct health assessments and screenings to monitor students' health and detect potential issues.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records for all students, ensuring confidentiality and pliance with HIPAA regulations.
• Collaborate with parents, teachers, and other school personnel to develop and implement individual health plans for students with specific medical needs.
• Promote and educate students on healthy living practices, including nutrition, hygiene, and disease prevention.
• Manage and maintain the school's medical supplies, ensuring an adequate stock of essential items.
• Respond to medical emergencies and accidents on the school premises.
• Work closely with the school administration to ensure pliance with state and federal health regulations.
• Participate in relevant professional development opportunities to stay current with best practices and healthcare trends in a school setting.

Qualifications:

• Current LVN/LPN license.
• CPR and first aid certification.
• Experience in pediatric or school nursing is preferred.
• Strong munication and interpersonal skills.
• passion and patience in working with children.
• Excellent organizational and documentation skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team and independently.
• Knowledge of state health regulations and laws related to school health services.
