School CounselorRutland High SchoolRutland High School is searching for a dynamic individual to offer comprehensive guidance and counseling services at the high school level. We are seeking a highly qualified candidate who is energetic, experienced with students in grades 7-12, and strongly committed to implementing a comprehensive high school counseling program, including college and career planning, crisis management, expanding flexible pathways, and commitment to academic excellence. Collaborate with teachers and administrators to provide necessary student guidance and communicate with families regarding graduation requirements, post-secondary options, and social-emotional concerns. Experience working with high school students and a Masters degree is required.Applicants must possess strong organizational, oral, and written communication skills and have a strong background in individual and small-group support, conflict resolution, and crisis management.
The ideal candidate must hold a Vermont license as a School Counselor or be eligible for licensure as a School Counselor.
