School Cafeteria Worker

Responsibilities:

- Prepare and serve food and beverages in accordance with established recipes and portion sizes
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the cafeteria, including food preparation areas, serving stations, and dining areas
- Assist with food inventory management, including receiving, storing, and rotating supplies
- Provide excellent customer service to cafeteria patrons, addressing any questions or concerns
- Follow all food safety guidelines and regulations to ensure the health and safety of customers and staff
- Collaborate with the kitchen staff to ensure smooth operation of the cafeteria
- Set up and break down serving stations before and after meal periods
- Assist with catering events or special functions as needed

Qualifications:

- Previous experience in a food service or hospitality role preferred
- Knowledge of food safety practices and procedures
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work well within a team and take direction from supervisors
- High School Diploma or GED required

Pay: $12.40 per hour

Expected hours: 22.5 per week
