Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:45 AM - 2:30 PM

Position Overview:

As a Registered Nurse in this school-based position, you will play a vital role in promoting the health and well-being of students. You will be responsible for providing nursing care and support to two students in a single classroom setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer medications and medical treatments as prescribed.
• Monitor and assess the health status of students.
• Respond to medical emergencies and provide immediate care.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to ensure students' health needs are met.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records.
• Educate students and staff on health-related topics as needed.

Qualifications:

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of North Carolina.
• CPR and First Aid certification.
• Previous experience in a school or pediatric nursing role is preferred but not required.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
