We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our school healthcare team as a school nurse.This position will work with students in grades K - 12th.
About the position:
- Full-time / 37.5 hours per week
- Working with a Deaf and Hard of Hearing program
- Coordinate and oversee health services within the school, including managing the health office, maintaining student health records, and ensuring pliance with health regulations and policies.
- Assess and provide immediate care for students and staff who are injured or ill during school hours.
- Administer first aid, dispense medications, and implement emergency protocols as necessary.
- municate with parents, guardians, and emergency medical services as required.
About you:
- Must have Bachelors Degree in Nursing
- Must have active RN Minnesota License or a pact License
- Must have Public Health Nurse under the Boardof Nursing
- Must have a School Nurse License issued by Board of Teaching
- American Sign Language (ASL) knowledge preferred or willingness to learn
