Responsibilities
- Accurately schedules, gathers insurance information and pre-registers patients into the necessary systems and gives direction on technical preps. Communicates verbal and written orders in accordance with policies and procedures.
Maintains and reviews accurate schedules for six locations while maximizing time and equipment for the region. Keeps hold times to the corporate standard.
- Takes ownership of assignments; other duties as assigned or requested.
Communicates and listens effectively with internal and external customers; effectively understands instructions and shares knowledge.
Cooperates and interacts with supervisors, peers, other departments, and all customer groups demonstrating our commitment to “service”.
Qualifications
Job Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- Medical Terminology Courses
- One (1) year related experience
- Scheduling Knowledge
Preferred Job Requirements:
- Registration and Insurance Knowledge
