***Hybrid - Applicants must reside in the Chicagoland area to occasionally be onsite***
- Maintain and mature our SCCM management and distribution points.
- Performs third party system patching and security remediation to endpoints and servers.
- Maintains Active Directory, Group Policy, and security permissions.
- Maintains core systems including but not limited to, SCCM and Intune.
- Create and maintain server and systems documentation.
- Installation, configuration, and maintenance of hardware including updates and patches to drivers, bios, and firmware.
- Provides tracking and reporting on remediation efforts.
- Thorough understanding of SCCM database tables and log.
- Maintains proficiency within the IT industry via certifications and self-study to keep abreast of new software and hardware technologies.
- Attends technical conferences, training and/or seminars.
Essential skills and experience:
- Minimum of five (5) years of systems administration experience using SCCM and AD in an enterprise environment.
- Degree, Certifications (e.g., MCP, MCTS, MCITP) or Equivalent experience.
- Strong experience in conducting routing system administration tasks and logging data in system admin logs.
- Maintain system efficiency and have experience maintaining troubleshooting MS SCCM systems.
- Strong knowledge of several debugging protocols and processes.
- Solid troubleshooting skills.
- Experience with managing software updates and deployments using WSUS, SCCM, Group Policies, Intune, and other technologies.
