Essential Responsibilities:
- Complete 3D scans as requested / required by engineers and analyst
- Prep parts for scanning, including targeting and spray painting
- Communicate and work closely with analyst to ensure timely completion of all necessary scans
- Conduct demonstrations for engineers and project a helpful, knowledgeable presence in the lab
- Support the development of new fixturing and measurement techniques
- Definition of each scanning project, including scans needed and reports required
- Obtaining required CAD data form engineer or CREO/Windchill needed to complete analysis
- Coordination of all projects in the scan lab, including scheduling and report outs.
- Support the development of new measurement techniques
- Keep the lab clean and organized both inside and outside
- Execute the calibration lab scanners
Qualifications/Requirements:
- College Degree desired, technical field preferred
- Experience in CAD and/or manipulation of 3D CAD data
- Demonstrated ability to juggle multiple projects to maximize output
- Computer savvy, able to learn multiple software programs and run them simultaneously
- Willing to conduct tours to various groups. Able to communicate effectively with multiple tour levels, from the novice “Bring your child to work day” to the “Monogram Experience Customer” to the “Experienced Supplier Application Engineer”.
- Excellent teamwork skills. Self-starter
- Able to balance priorities in a potentially high stress environment
- Ability to diagnose and communicate machine faults to service technicians and maintenance personnel
Preferred Qualifications:
- 3D scanning experience
- Metrology experience, including gage design, CMM programming, Six sigma data analysis.
- Experience with CREO and Windchill helpful.

- Tech savvy
- Tooling experience, metals and/or plastics, machining
- Prosser, Ivy-tech, JCC, industrial arts, tool & die apprenticeship programs
- Kentucky Machining Association (KMA), JCTC
- Manufacturing / automotive background
