Scan Coordinator/Cashier

```Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly organized and customer-oriented individual to join our team as a Lead Cashier. As the Lead Cashier, you will be responsible for overseeing the cash register operations and providing exceptional customer service. This is a key role in our retail store, and we are looking for someone who can effectively manage the cashier team while ensuring efficient and accurate transactions.

Responsibilities:
- Manage cash register operations, including opening and closing procedures
- Train and supervise cashiers to ensure excellent customer service
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and returns in a professional manner
- Maintain accurate cash drawer balances and reconcile discrepancies
- Stock shelves and merchandise as needed
- Collect data on sales trends and customer preferences
- Perform basic math calculations to process transactions and provide change
- Assist with retail sales by recommending products and upselling when appropriate
- Enter data into computer systems for inventory management purposes
- Provide administrative support, such as filing paperwork and organizing records

Skills:
- Strong analytical skills to analyze sales data and identify trends
- Excellent communication skills to interact with customers and cashier team members
- Proficiency in basic math calculations for accurate transaction processing
- Previous experience in retail sales or cashiering preferred
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail to ensure accurate cash handling and data entry
