Scale Service Technician

Earn $18-23 per hour, depending on electrical/mechanical experience. CLEAN DRIVING RECORD REQUIRED. Training provided, both on the job and factory specific. Benefits included, along with annual raises based on performance and skill acquisition.

Our Scale Service Technicians are responsible for trouble shooting, repairing and/or calibrating all types of scales, including but not limited to: Floor Scales, Truck Scales, Counting Scales, Bench Scales, Rail Scales, Indicators, and custom software solutions for weighing systems.

Responsibilities also include working with both mechanical and digital scales, programming equipment to perform to customer requirements and orienting and educating our customers on proper equipment operation.

We provide on the job training in the form of shadowing, and occasional factory specific schooling.

Requirements for this position include:

· Strong interpersonal skills

· Self-starter requiring minimal direct supervision

· Knowledge of basic electrical concepts

· Establish and maintain effective communication supporting our customers

· Versatile in performing different tasks daily

· Able and willing to adjust quickly to rapidly changing duties

· Detail oriented; prepare time records, work orders and documentation in timely manner

· Excellent organizational skills with the ability to quickly gather information, troubleshoot and resolve issues

· Willing to take ownership of tasks assigned

· Clean driving record

· Ability to physically lift 50 to 100 lbs. on a daily basis

· Basic computer and tablet skills required

· Able to pass a background check and drug screening prior to start

The Ideal Candidate:

· Gets excited about electrical and mechanical “troubleshooting”

· Is career minded; with a willingness to learn

· Familiar with torches, welders, and other construction type equipment, or very interested in becoming familiar with such types of construction equipment

· Already has a strong Knowledge of electrical theory

· Preferable has already obtained an Associates Electronics Degree

· Possesses a CDL upon hire or willingness to obtain

Position allows for incremental raises as performance is reviewed and new skills acquired. Must provide three professional references, and complete phone and in-person interview block.
