David Raines Community Health Centers is looking for passionate, qualified applicants to join our team!
The Registered Nurse provides basic skilled nursing care while utilizing observational skills and reporting pertinent patient symptoms and changes in conditions to the physician. The RN will assist with emergency situations, as well as document medications, treatment and education. The RN will assume management duties such as working up charts, maintaining adequate supplies, and maintaining a clean organized and safe environment.
Education/Experience Qualifications
- Current licensure of RN in the State of Louisiana.
- Minimum of five years of experience as an RN.
- Demonstrated ability to perform the functions of the RN according to accepted standards of nursing care.
- Current CPR certification.
- Good physical and mental health, emotional stability and appropriate grooming.
- Demonstrates tact, courtesy, and an understanding of the needs of the patient.
- Must be able to adjust to diversified types of personalities and use good judgment in varying situations.
- Must be able to meet the physical requirements for this position.
- Experience with electronic health records required, preferably NextGen or similar EHS
- Must be available to work after hours and weekends as required by management.
