Saw Shop Filer Summary
Our West Point, VA location is searching for a Saw Shop Filer. This is a great opportunity for an individual to join our team.. If you have experience with tool and die or machine shop experience, you might be a good fit for this role.
Saw Shop Filer Pay & Benefits:

Saw Shop Filer Responsibilities:
- Sharpening, repairing and maintaining band saws
- Sharpening chipper knives and maintaining gang guides
- Adherence to all plant safety and environmental guidelines, policies, and procedures
- Ability to work independently
- Capable of working efficiently/safe as well as keeping a high level of precision
- Welding saw cracks & broken teeth
- Leveling & tensioning band saws
- General maintenance of saw filing equipment
Saw Shop Filer Qualifications:
- We are looking for ANYONE with tool and die or machine shop experience
- Saw shop experience is preferred, but not mandatory
- Must be self motivated and organized
