Position Title:Saturday Swim Director, Youth Academy

Description:Reporting to the Associate Director of Youth Programs, the Saturday Swim Director, in conjunction with the Associate Director, will organize and implement swim lessons for different skill levels and ages. The Saturday Swim Director will oversee 15 + swim instructors, making sure that the instructors are teaching appropriate swim skills. The Saturday Swim Director will take attendance of staff and students and report data back to the Youth Academy Associate Director.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Have knowledge and ability to instruct swim counselors on how to teach students how to swim.
- Be organized and lead a staff of 15+ swim counselors.
- Be able to instruct students and counselors of varying skill and experience levels.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Work Schedule: Saturdays from 8am to 12pm.Qualifications:
- Red Cross Lifeguard Certification required.
- Previous lifeguard experience preferred.
- Previous swim instruction experience.
