Job Title: Satellite Tracking Ground Station, Integration & Field Technician Job Code: SAS20232711-108390 Job Location: Simi Valley, CA Job Description: L3Harris Technologies Inc. is seeking an Integration and Field Technician level C to join our team in providing worldwide Integration and field testing of Satellite Tracking Ground Stations from .5 -22 Meters in Diameter to support the portfolio of systems within the DARC contract. Essential Functions: The Integration and Field Technician C duties include but are not limited to: Responsible for the worldwide integration and field testing and evaluation of Satelie Tracking Ground Station equipment and components for both Factory and on site Acceptance Test Procedures which are a part of new and preform Preventative maintenance systems sustained by L3Harris for designated customers.

Utilize electronic test and measurement equipment to support general laboratory operations. Assemble, configure, test, operate, and repair hardware in accordance with documentation provided. Perform benchtop RF testing with only the guidance of a test procedure and understands what the procedure is testing.

Understanding of Analog/digital Electronics and microprocessor based control systems Collect test data for review and analysis. Document equipment failures through designated reporting tools. Perform electrical, mechanical, and RF troubleshooting as required.

Provide documentation support, such as minor edits to existing procedures and/or technical drawings. Maintain a clean, well-organized, and safe work area. Follow all safety guidelines and report unsafe conditions to manager.

Support facility operations through the completion of assigned tasks as directed by management. Assist in developing methods and procedures to control or modify processes. Qualifications: Ability to obtain TOP SECRET / SCI security clearance.

Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 6 years of prior relevant experience or 2 years post-Secondary/associate degree with a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience. Must be a US citizen or have green card or work permit. Ability to travel 40% of the year.

Preferred Additional Skills: Fully proficient understanding of RF, terminology, and testing equipment (Spectrum Analyzer, Signal Generator, etc.). Understands RF connection types and waveguide sizes (e.g., N type connectors, 2.92 mm connectors, SMA connectors, BNC connectors). Ability to read and understand all applicable electronic schematics work instructions and procedures and perform computer related tasks without assistance.

Possess a high level of initiative and willingness to learn. Professional attitude and excellent verbal/written communication skills. Daily schedule and task flexibility with minimal notice.

Advanced computer skills including familiarity with windows-based programs such as Microsoft productivity tools (e.g., Excel, Word). Advanced networking experience. Ability to interpret mechanical/electrical drawings and schematics.

Experience with working in an ESD safe environment. Familiar with standard electronic test and measurement equipment operations. Ability to solder.
