SAT English and Math instructors are needed for SAT prep courses in Monmouth and Ocean counties. Courses are given at Holmdel HS, Jackson Memorial HS, and Toms River HS East.
We are interested in hiring certified teachers, or professionals in related fields with excellent communication skills and expertise in SAT tutoring. Applicants should have great facility with math OR verbal subject matter & strategy on the SAT exam and be able to execute a test prep curriculum with ease. Teacher certification is a plus, though not an absolute, depending on experience and ability.
Applicants should be:
- Thoroughly familiar with either math or verbal SAT subject matter (teaching/tutoring experience)
- Excellent communicator of SAT subject matter and strategies
- Able to develop a strong rapport with high school juniors
- Extremely reliable and have command of the classroom
Lesson plan is completely prepared and all materials are provided. Resume submissions should reflect the skills and educational experience compatible with the position. Courses are starting in late Jan, Zoom interviews are being scheduled ASAP.
