Optimized Technical Solutions is seeking a SAP S/4HANA Application Support Engineer to join our team. This is a full-time, remote position.
Qualifications:
• 8+ years of SAP development experience including 2-year experience developing ABAP applications on S/4HANA
• Hands-on experience with technical conversion of SAP ERP systems to S/4HANA, including custom code adaptation for S/4HANA using tools like ATC, ADT for Eclipse and CCM
• Hands-on experience with the SAP upgrade process including system preparation, data migration and adaptation of custom code after support-packs/upgrades
• Have good knowledge of developing applications in ABAP using conventional programming or RESTful programming mode
• Knowledge to set the development standards and secure programming guidelines for SAP development platforms using tools like ATC or other 3rd party applications
• Solid understanding of development differences between SAP ECC and SAP S/4HANA, including architecture design, data model changes, custom code, SLT replication, integration, and interfaces
• Strong teamwork, interpersonal skills, and ability to own and drive outcomes
• Should be self-motivated, goal and detail oriented & establish scope & timelines
• This role requires to be flexible to work with multi-regional team across different time zones and be able to multi-task to work on applications developed using a mix of SAP tools in various programming languages
• Motivated and enthusiastic to discover and learn new technologies
• Should have excellent collaborative & interpersonal skills - both verbal & written with ability to articulate technical issues to non-technical audience
• BS or MS degree in Computer Science or equivalent
Responsibilities:
• As S/4HANASupport Engineer, we look forward to your contributions for SAP development activities performed during conversion of ECC system to S/4HANA, including system preparation, data migration and adaptation of custom code in the new environment
• Manage application issue escalations & status reporting
• Participate and contribute to application improvement efforts for a reliable, secure, and robust enterprise solutions
• Allocate work to team members and review their work
• Demonstrate excellent analytical skills to identify application crash and contribute to the resolution
