Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the Houston production teams with the deployment of SAP S4 HANA and associated Axalta standard business processes.
    • Lead and coordinate local subject matter experts (SMEs) to construct, transform, and cleanse master data to align with standards established in the global template.
    • Work with site SMEs, super users (SUs), site leadership as well as all operations employees to make site design decisions related to production staging, organization and manufacturing flows, process order execution and material transactions.
    • Provide leadership to ensure that end users successfully complete the training, test the system and complete end user acceptance.
    • Provide operations leadership for cutover, go live, and Hypercare activities.
    • Drive issue resolution and improvements by distinguishing between functionality, data and user capability then engaging appropriate personnel.

  • Provide ongoing leadership to fully standardize production/material staging and process order execution processes to align with best practices after implementation of SAP S4 HANA.
    • Facilitate and lead master data gathering and cleansing activities to align process order information with work centers and recipes.
    • Identify and prioritize value realization opportunities across all production processes.
    • Lead change management to drive operational discipline related to real time material transactions, such as staging, transfers and allocations leveraging RF guns technology.
    • Lead and manage improvement projects, including but not limited to decreasing cost of goods sold and improved asset efficiency.
    • Drive training and daily execution of process order review, analysis, and cost reconciliation.
    • Identify best practices and leverages across all manufacturing areas.

  • Improves SAP System Effectiveness.
    • Use metrics and reports to identify deviations from the global template and investigates deviations to root cause.
    • Drive training to increase SAP utilization across a broad spectrum of users.
    • Define and communicate needed changes within ERP Systems.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma/GED plus 10+ years of operational experience in a manufacturing environment specific to areas of production, production planning and/or warehousing.
    • Bachelor's degree strongly preferred.
  • Approximate travel required: ~10%.
  • Demonstrated experience managing people/teams and leading management of change related to ERP processes and continuous process improvement.
  • 5+ years of experience working in SAP ERP system with significant focus on product processes.
  • Conceptual worker with strong analytical skills and know-how to organize work.
  • Hands-on team player and a self-starter.
  • Results oriented while maintaining eye on detail.
  • Excellent networking skills and communication skills.
  • Experienced in data validation and analysis.
  • General MS Office skills (Excel/Word/PowerPoint).
  • Thinks in terms of process with clear understanding of inputs, outputs and process.
  • Demonstrates ability to lead change across teams, effectively engaging all layers of the operations organization.
  • Organized facilitator with project management skills.
  • Quickly grasps complex production processes.
  • Takes initiative in managing assigned responsibilities.
  • Prioritizes work according to business sense and customer priority.
  • Possesses excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Sensitivity to suppliers and customers and the stakeholders that are part of the E2E production process.
    • Understands when and how to escalate issues to management.
