What you'll do: 

Position title: SAP iXp Intern - Communications

Location: New York- Hudson Yards

Expected start date to end date: June 2023

• Manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Support internal announcements and events. Examples would include quarterly employee All-Hands events and coffee corner sessions with executives
• Help produce a bi-weekly employee newsletter. This would include writing people stories and feature content
• Maintain employee portals with updated and relevant content
• Provide operational support across the I&CX Communications team

What you bring: 

We're looking for someone who takes initiative, perseveres, and stay curious. You like to work on meaningful innovative projects and are energized by lifelong learning. 

• Candidates are enrolled in an undergraduate or master's program in Communications, Public Relations, or Journalism. Must demonstrate top academic achievement.
• Exceptional English communication skills, both verbal and written.Fluency in English, with strong writing and editing skills as demonstrated by a cover letter and, if available, 1-3 samples of writing (e.g., blogs, published articles, and school compositions)
• Good presentation skills
• Strong interpersonal skills with a team player attitude
• Ability to move quickly, take initiative, multi-task, and work cross-functionally
• Asks questions and is curious about everything
• Excellent organizational skills, with an ability to prioritize time-sensitive assignments and follow through on commitments
• Social media and digital technology experience
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (SharePoint, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)

Not required, but would be taken into consideration:

• Prior work experience, e.g., working at SAP, newsletter production, feature writing, conducting interviews, etc
• Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite
• Graphic design, video production, web design, and video editing skills
• Conversational or written competency in a language other than English. Fluency in German is a bonus

Compensation Range Transparency: SAP believes the value of pay transparency contributes towards an honest and supportive culture and is a significant step toward demonstrating SAP's commitment to pay equity. SAP provides the annualized compensation range inclusive of base salary and variable incentive target for the career level applicable to the posted role. The targeted combined range for this position is 15-62 USD. The actual amount to be offered to the successful candidate will be within that range, dependent upon the key aspects of each case which may include education, skills, experience, scope of the role, location, etc. as determined through the selection process. Any SAP variable incentive includes a targeted dollar amount and any actual payout amount is dependent on company and personal performance.
