Responsibilities

• Data strategy consulting and data mapping analysis for SAP IS-PS, Funds Management, and other related data for S/4HANA migration projects. An in-depth knowledge of SAP financial solutions like General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Inventory Management (IM), Material Management interface to FI (MM/FI), Fixed Assets (FA), Project Systems (PS) and Investment Management (IM) as well as material management (Inventory). You must have advance knowledge of the SAP Public Sector modules: Funds Management (FM), Grants Management (GM), and Public Sector Collections and Disbursement (PSCD)
• Communication of data strategy and data mapping rules to stakeholders so that the design and implications with a move to S/4HANA are fully understood.
• Work with the data migration consultants to ensure the mapping and transformation rules meet the business requirements.
• Once the data is migrated from ECC to S/4HANA provide data validation and work with IT and business functional and UAT testers to ensure any data related issues are resolved.

Required Skills

• Strong understanding of SAP solutions: Expertise in core SAP modules like FI (Finance), CO (Controlling), MM (Materials Management), HR (Human Resources), PSM-FG and other relevant Public Sector add-on solutions.
• Public sector knowledge: Familiarity with the specific challenges and regulations of the Public Sector, including budgeting, procurement, and reporting requirements.
• Consulting skills: Ability to understand client needs with relation to the data structures in an SAP system, design solutions, manage projects effectively, and communicate clearly with stakeholders.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills: Building relationships with Public Sector clients and collaborating effectively with internal teams.
• Technical skills: familiar with migration tools and methods
• A plus to have technical skills: Knowledge of data management, integration tools, and ABAP/JavaScript if customization is involved.
• This job will involve 50% travel, so you must be prepared to travel.

Travel is optional, however if you wish there is opportunity to travel in USA, Germany, Austria, Slovakia, Switzerland and Australia.
