What you'll be doing...at the core
The SAP EWM Expert will be on-site in our parts warehouse, leading system operations and providing support / troubleshooting any system related issues. This role will report into the Warehouse Supervisor and work closely with the company's IT Team. Responsibilities will include:
- Provide daily support to the warehouse operations as a system power-user, including access management, technical software, and basic hardware support.
- Act as primary liaison between warehouse and IT support team.
- Maintain system data integrity and support periodic data updates.
- Lead and collaborate with the parts warehouse's third-party vendor and MHI RJ's IT team in the planning and execution of IT-related projects when required.
- Identify, design, and implement internal process improvements: automating manual processes, optimizing data delivery, etc.
- Execute and support warehouse governance and KPI activities.
- Prepare necessary reports, documentation and/or presentations for governance of MHI RJ's third-party vendor and the warehouse operations.
- Assist in the development and maintenance of business processes, work instructions and end-user documentation.
- Provide MHI RJ system and process training to end-users (as required).

- Demonstrated super user of SAP Extended Warehouse Management (EWM) modules and business processes, including the technical understanding of frontend and backend features and functionalities.
- Minimum of 5 years' work experience in process analysis, including an understanding of current supply chain issues in a fast-paced environment.
- College degree in Operations Management, Supply Chain Management, Computer Science, Information Technologies, or similar degree - OR equivalent work experience is required.
- Solid knowledge of other SAP modules (Sales & Distribution "SD", Materials Management "MM", Supply Chain Management "SCM") and how these interrelate with EWM.
- Able to clearly explain SAP topics in business terms to non-specialists.
- Ideal individual will have: strong problem-solving skills, excellent project management and organizational skills, ability to troubleshoot and propose solutions, and work independently and with limited supervision.
- You have good English language skills (reading/ writing/ speaking).
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship.
- Fluent in English - reading, writing, speaking.
